Hulu: If you like to watch TV shows, you should be aware of hulu. If you want to watch the latest episode of a TV show, or if there’s something on TV you want to watch but can’t, you can find it on hulu. It is kind of like Netflix , but for all the networks and cable channels. You get to watch all their shows that are not on regular TV. If your cable company doesn’t provide this service (some don’t) it is free for 6 months; after 6 months they charge $7.99/month.
It is easy to join; just go to https://www.hulu.com/welcome .

I want to tell you about the world’s greatest startup. It’s not Facebook or Google or Twitter or Zynga or Groupon. It’s not one that you’ve heard of.
The startup I want to talk about is called Hulu. Hulu is an online video service, but it is not just another YouTube. Imagine if every TV show ever made were available to be watched whenever you wanted. That’s what Hulu does.
Hulu began in 2007 as a joint venture between two big media companies: NBC Universal and News Corporation (which owns Fox). When these giants took on YouTube, they were entering a high-stakes game with clear rules: Be interesting or die. And they knew that this game would be played by millions of players with almost unlimited resources: teenagers who do nothing but watch video all day but can easily try something new; advertisers who find it nearly impossible to get people to pay attention to their ads; and engineers who are constantly trying new ideas but can easily switch projects when one doesn’t work out.

Hulu is an on-demand video service that allows users to view television series, films, and short videos. Launched in 2007 by three former PayPal employees, the service is owned by Hulu LLC, a joint venture between NBCUniversal Television Group (a division of Comcast), 21st Century Fox, and as of August 10, 2017 Time Warner.
The company also owns an internet video-gaming website called Rocket League.
Hulu offers more than 7 million episodes from over 1,500 television shows. Its content includes current and past episodes of series such as Seinfeld, South Park, Empire, Family Guy, Bob’s Burgers, The Mindy Project and 30 Rock along with next-day episodes of first-run broadcast series.
What to watch on Hulu?
Here’s a guide to my favorite shows on hulu.com, the free video site supported by ads.
The Wire . I don’t think any other show has ever had a better season opener than the first episode of season 3 of this show about Baltimore’s drug dealers and cops. It’s got everything: wonderful acting, great dialog, and two shocking moments that will make you gasp. The rest of the season doesn’t quite live up to that first episode (though some of it does), but it is still probably the best drama ever on television, and certainly one of the most ambitious. It’s on netflix too; but the first three seasons are currently on hulu.
When I started writing this, I had no idea how many shows are on Hulu. It’s too many to watch; it’s like trying to watch the output of every movie studio. So you need some way to find out which ones are worth your time.
It is striking how different the shows are. There are police procedurals and sitcoms and soap operas and documentaries and reality shows—and even cartoons. Some have fairly big budgets, but others look like they just stapled a couple of index cards together. Each one is trying to be different, but they’re all put together in the same medium, so they all look more or less the same.
What you notice first about any show is what it looks like. You can feel your eyes soaking it in before anything else sinks in. That’s important, because the way I find out if I’m going to watch something is by looking at still shots—I don’t even wait for them to start playing before I move on if they don’t look interesting—and that’s probably true for other people too.
How to watch Hulu in India?
Watching Hulu in India is now possible, but only if you are willing to break the law.
Hulu has reached agreements with several major networks to stream full episodes of current TV programs, including The Office, 30 Rock, Heroes, Ugly Betty and Grey’s Anatomy. Hulu is free with ads, but it offers a paid service that removes the ads for $8 a month. Both streams are available in the US.
The service is also available in Australia, Canada and New Zealand, but not in India. Hulu is making no effort to block access from outside the US, so there are no technical measures standing between an Indian Internet user and Hulu’s free or ad-free content. The problem isn’t technical; it’s legal.
India has complex laws restricting what you can do with media you buy. For example, if you buy a DVD of a movie in India, you may not legally make a copy of it for your own use. If you try to do so anyway (for example by ripping it onto your hard drive), you may be committing a crime punishable by up to three years in prison and a fine of 300,000 rupees (about $7000). The law doesn’t distinguish between commercial and noncommercial activities; if you’re
You probably already know that you can watch Hulu in India. In fact, you can watch Hulu in any country outside the US, Canada, and Japan. Hulu’s decision to keep its local content exclusively for its home audience is a huge mistake.

So how do you get around this problem? The answer is simple!
There are a few other ways to watch Hulu in India. The first way is to use a VPN to change your IP address to an American IP address. The second way is to use the Hulu app which is available in the Indian App Store.
A VPN service like ExpressVPN will let you change your IP address to a US one, making it seem like you’re accessing the site from within the US.
This way, you’ll be able to access all of Hulu’s content without any issues or restrictions whatsoever.
How does Hulu work?
Hulu works like this:
- You pay them money.
- They send you stuff. Just like Netflix, except they rent out old TV shows and not just movies.
It is a lot better than Netflix; they have less of an annoying selection of movies, but more old TV shows that you actually wanted to watch.
To begin with, unless you have a paid subscription to Hulu, you can’t watch any TV shows from the last five years. The largest selection of shows is from the past three years, and even those will disappear as time goes on.
You also can’t watch any TV shows that weren’t first shown on a broadcast or cable network. And you can’t watch a show that a network hasn’t given permission for Hulu to stream. Some networks don’t give permission at all; others allow only some shows to be streamed, and it varies from network to network.
Hulu started as a co-venture between two companies that already had something like this: NBC and Fox, which own America’s six largest broadcast networks. Since then they’ve been adding more companies: ABC (Disney), CBS (CBS), and Warner Brothers (Time Warner). The BBC has a streaming deal too.* But none of these deals is unlimited: each company has its own list of shows it allows Hulu to stream. So if you want to watch everything on Hulu, you have to subscribe separately to each one. It gets even more confusing because the BBC and Disney are starting their own streaming services in Britain and America respectively.
So if you just want to catch up with all your favorite, visit Hulu webite or download the official Hulu app to get started.
How to cancel Hulu subscription?
Hulu is a great place to watch TV shows and movies. However, some people prefer on-demand services like Netflix. In this guide I’ll show you how to cancel your Hulu account and move your subscription over to Netflix.
When you subscribe to Hulu, you may be surprised that they bill you every month even if you don’t use the service. Some people think they are not billed because they didn’t use the service, but this is not true. The reasoning behind their billing policy is to allow the users to enjoy their subscription for an unlimited amount of time without any additional charges.
The company offers a 30-day money-back guarantee with no questions asked which allows the users to enjoy the services for an unlimited amount of time without being charged. Upon cancellation of your subscription, there are no additional charges or fees that will be applied. You are just paying for the months that you have used the services, nothing more.
However, some people have reported that upon cancellation of their subscription, they were charged for an extra month for non-use of service even if they have already requested cancellation prior to this charge. Therefore, if you have not received confirmation of your cancellation or if your credit card was charged for an extra month after cancellation, contact customer service so they can resolve these issues immediately.
And lastly, if you want to cancel your Hulu subscription, do not delay it any longer as it will also delay the refund process of your account.
About Hulu app
Hulu has a new app for the iPad, which is a great idea. The only catch is that it’s a separate app, not one that can run inside the browser.
I don’t object to the decision to make an iPad app instead of hacking up their existing Flash player. But I do object to the decision to make it a separate app instead of one that runs inside the web browser. iPad apps are great for situations where you have lots of screen real estate and you know you’re going to be using just one app at a time. But they’re bad for situations where you have limited screen space and you occasionally want to switch back and forth between two apps. And that’s just the situation you’re in when trying to watch a movie on your iPad.
It would have been much better if they had made their Flash player updateable via software update, so they could have added an iPad UI as well as an iPhone UI without making a whole new app for it. In particular, if they were going to give up having it work in fullscreen mode, then they shouldn’t have advertised that feature in their original press release . It was just confusing everyone.
Hulu has been called the best new app ,” “the Netflix killer,” and “a great alternative to cable TV .” And for good reason. Hulu is a clever video-streaming service that’s a viable alternative to cable TV, and it’s taking the world by storm . Its iPhone app got a recent redesign, and it’s now available for Android devices as well.
