CARLOS MARIN BIOGRAPHY

Carlos Marin Menchero was born on the 13th of October 1968 in Hesse, West Germany. If he were to be alive, he would be about 53 years of age. He spent most of his life in Madrid, the capital of Madrid. He died on the 19th of December 2021 at the age of 53 after being diagnosed with COVID-19- 19.

Carloa Marin made his first album at a very tender age of eight. The album was produced by Pierre Kartner who was a famous record producer then. He began to perform at shows at that same age and performed in front of over 800 spectators. He desire for music was still burning and at the age of ten, he recorded his second album which he titled ‘Dear Mother’. When he became a teenager, at the age of 15 to be precise, he started to perform in TV shows in Spain. At such a young age, he made a name for himself, becoming famous in his career. With the passage of time, he became a talented singer, an energetic performer becoming versatile and exploring different genres of music.

He has performed in shows such as ‘Les Misérables’, ‘Beauty and the Beast’, ‘Grease’. He has also worked in the production units of blockbuster shows ‘La Magia De Broadway’, ‘Peter Pan’, ‘The Nightmare Before Christmas’, ‘Cinderella’.

In Spain he is known for his performances in ‘Sabatini Gardens’.

He became a member of the popular music group ‘II Divo’. As a group, their album which was named after their group name, ‘II Divo’ was a hit smashing records gaining worldwide acceptance. The major achievements of the song was that it featured in the Billboard Music Charts and selling over 5 million copies. Apart from the ‘II Divo’ album they’ve been responsible for top-selling album such as ‘Ancora’ (2005), ‘Siempre'(2006), ‘The Promise'(2008).

The ‘The Promise’ album was one of their most successful albums, which after it’s released topped charts nationwide, knocking other songs on the chart. The next year Carlos Marin and his group recorded and released another album, the hit song titled ‘Unbreak My Heart’ was the poster song of the album featuring as a soundtrack in soap operas across Europe.

Carlos Marin started his show, having performances in Spain’s capital Madrid almost every year. From 2011 to 2016, he performed in various cities and countries such as Campeche in Mexico, Ciudad del Carmen in Mexico and other parts of America, South America and Japan. After seeing the success of his tour, selling out venues and getting people on their feet, he decided to produce his own CD in September 2016.
